2025 · Oak River, ManitobaJS Henry & Sons
Seed-plant expansion
Our flagship capital project of 2025 was the successful design, build and commissioning of a major seed-plant expansion for JS Henry & Sons in Oak River, Manitoba.
Designed and delivered from the ground up and fully commissioned within seven months, the project expanded the facility’s processing capabilities while maintaining exceptional flexibility for a wide range of seed products.
Handshake’s scope included engineered structures, equipment layout, custom fabrication, mechanical installation, dust collection and full system integration, culminating in a high-performance plant featuring 10,000 BPH receiving for rapid truck unloading and 1,000 BPH internal conveyance.
The project was completed safely, successfully and to specification, providing the client with a scalable, efficient and configurable processing operation for long-term growth and operational reliability.
